Titans, Seahawks reportedly still interested in Jadeveon Clowney after dropping asking price

Many of the NFL's biggest free agents already landed deals, but defensive end/linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is still on the table. The 27-year-old has reportedly lowered his price from $20 million-plus per season to $17 million to $18 million a year, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini.

With the lowered asking price, the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks are interested in the three-time Pro Bowler.

Titans general manager Jon Robinson said on a conference call Wednesday that he's had discussions with Clowney, but "nothing is imminent," according to Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports.

Clowney was the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans and spent five seasons with the organization before getting traded to the Seahawks in 2019.

Last season, Clowney had three sacks, 21 solo tackles and four forced fumbles with one touchdown. He's consistently been a disruptive pass rusher over his NFL career, so it's no surprise he's asking for a hefty raise in 2020.
