Titans Resign Levin, Add Tight End Wesco
USA TODAY Sports

NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Titans added help to their offensive line and tight end room on Friday afternoon with the announcement that they have resigned guard/center Corey Levin and free agent tight end Trevon Wesco.

Levin, a sixth-round selection by the Titans in the 2017 NFL Draft, played 17 games with three starts for the Titans in 2022 and a total of 45 games over his Tennessee career.

Levin appeared in all 17 games for the Titans in 2022, starting the final three games at center, replacing the injured Ben Jones.

Wesco enters his fifth NFL season in 2023. After he was selected by the New York Jets in the fourth round (121st overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft, he spent three seasons with the Jets and one season with the Chicago Bears. In 54 career games (13 starts), he has totaled 113 yards on eight receptions and added six special teams tackles.

Prior to the 2022 season, Wesco was acquired by the Bears off waivers from the Jets. He saw action in 14 games with one start for Chicago, catching two passes for 26 yards and adding a special teams tackle. He also caught a pass for a two-point conversion.

Levin is expected to compete for the starting center position along with Aaron Brewer, who the team resigned during the free agency period.

Wesco, who's not considered a pass-catching tight end, will pair with Chig Okonkwo and provide the role of a bull-dozing blocker, which has been his role since entering the NFL in 2019.
