The Dallas Cowboys have a new starting running back

Having failed to recapture the magic of the dominant running attack the Dallas Cowboys exhibited last season, head coach Jason Garrett is expected insert a new starting running back into the lineup for their Week 7 game against the New York Giants.

"CMike" is a reference to Cowboys running back Christine Michael. Michael was acquired by the Cowboys from the Seattle Seahawks just before the start of the season, and now it appears the Texas native will be leading the Cowboys rushing attack from this point forward.

Michael, a second round pick in 2013 out of Texas A&M, never caught quite caught on with the Seahawks, burried in depth chart behind All-Pro running back Marshawn Lynch. For the 24-year-old Michael, it would appear he is finally getting his chance to showcase what he can on Sunday's.

Additionally, the Cowboys have inserted highly touted rookie offensive lineman La'el Collins into their starting lineup as well.
