Texans trade CB Keion Crossen to Giants for 2023 sixth-round pick

The Houston Texans are trading cornerback Keion Crossen to the New York Giants in exchange for a 2023 sixth-round pick, according to Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo provided information about the return to Houston.

Crossen is entering the final year of his contract and is set to make $920,000 in 2021.

The 25-year-old was a seventh-round pick of the Patriots in 2018 when Giants head coach Joe Judge was New England's special teams coordinator. He appeared in 11 games as a rookie and saw the most action on special teams.

The Patriots traded Crossen to the Texans in 2019. He spent two seasons in Houston, appearing in all 32 games over the last two years.

The Western Carolina product has 73 tackles and six pass breakups in his career.
