The son of a former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver announced his college transfer destination this week.
Wide receiver Chris Brazzell II announced on Thursday that he's transferring from Tulane and joining the Tennessee Vols.
Brazzell II is the son of former Cowboys wide receiver Chris Brazzell, who played for Dallas in 1999 and 2000.
The elder Brazzell played mostly on special teams for the Cowboys, catching just seven passes for 126 yards during his time in Dallas.
His most memorable moment with the Cowboys came in 1999 when had a 53-yard catch and run against the New York Jets.
The younger Brazzell, who is 6-foot-5, has a chance to play on Sundays. He caught 44 passes for 711 yards and five touchdowns at Tulane last season. Transferring to Tennessee will allow him to play in the SEC and boost his draft stock in the Volunteers' high-powered offense.
