A former Cleveland Browns tight end who has spent part of the last two seasons with the team is signing with the New Orleans Saints. Miller Forristall is signing a future/reserve deal with the Saints, according to league transactions.

Forristall appeared in six games over the last two seasons with Cleveland, the only team he's been with as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama. Forristall played in four games in 2022, and mainly operated as a blocking tight end with just one target to his name.

After the Browns brought in Pharoah Brown, the need for Forristall to be out there blocking went to the wayside. David Njoku and Harrison Bryant were the team's top two options.

This deal will allow Forristall to spend the off-season using the Saints' facilities to improve and perhaps crack a roster spot with them when the next season rolls around. This does not rule out him ending back on the Browns practice squad next season, where he has spent the majority of his time as a pro.
