The NFL Draft is unpredictable. The first round can be madness. Past that, the projections get even more impossible when it comes to prospect interest for different teams.
Regardless, the New Orleans Saints have some clear needs entering the month of March, nearly two months before the 2024 NFL Draft commences. The offensive and defensive line both need upgrades.
Kansas offensive lineman Dominick Puni would make a ton of sense for the Saints in round two of the draft.
Puni performed really well at the NFL Scouting Combine. He showed off impressive athleticism and size when it comes to testing and measurable numbers.
Dominick Puni is a OG prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 8.27 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 251 out of 1445 OG from 1987 to 2024.

The former Jayhawk is a player with legit versatility as well.
In the NFL, he could see time inside and outside. For the Saints, they need depth at both spots: guard and tackle. Puni would contend for a starting spot at offensive tackle if the Saints don't add a clear starter opposite Ryan Ramczyk.

Puni has an intriguing ceiling because of his strength and movement skills. You cannot find many prospects like him after the first round of the draft.
If New Orleans does not attack OL in round one, keep an eye on Puni for them in round two.
