The Seahawks are releasing two of their best defenders, with Seattle letting go of both Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs.
Plus, tight end Will Dissly also will be waived.
This is according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The Seahawks are cutting the two players because of financial concerns. Releasing both saves $27.5 million in cap space. The Dissley departure saves $7 million.
