Report: Bengals Assistant Troy Walters Requested To Interview For Open Offensive Coordinator Position

The Cardinals are assembling a staff around new head coach Jonathan Gannon.

According to Jonathan Jones, they've requested an interview with Troy Walters for their open offensive coordinator position.

The Bengals wide receivers coach also received an interview with the Houston Texans before they filled the role with 49ers passing game coordinator Bobby Slowik.

Walters played eight seasons in the NFL and has been on the Bengals staff since 2020. The 46-year-old helped Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd put up great performances over the past few campaigns.
