Ravens re-sign safety Geno Stone

According to the NFL transactions wire, the Baltimore Ravens are re-signing safety Geno Smith. 

As an exclusive rights free agent, Stone had to sign his ERFA tender to stay in Baltimore. 

Stone was a seventh-round pick by the Ravens in 2020, making the practice squad that season before eventually suiting up for two games. Later that season, he was claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans but was not offered a tender after the 2020 season. 

Stone re-signed with the Ravens ahead of the 2021 season for one-year $780,000. 

In 2021, Stone played in 15 games for the Ravens, starting one. He finished with 21 total tackles and one interception. 

Stone's lone interception of the season came against Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, which set the record for most interceptions in Steelers' history.
