The #Ravens and Jason Pierre-Paul, who have been talking for months, agreed to terms on a 1-year deal worth up to $5.5M, source said. A rare non-minimum deal during the season.

News of the deal comes after Pierre-Paul reportedly visited with the Ravens in June and then again met with the team earlier this week.
The 33-year-old spent the first eight seasons of his career with the New York Giants -- winning a Super Bowl and earning one First Team All-Pro nod and two Pro Bowl honors -- before playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2018 to 2021 and winning another Super Bowl and grabbing a third Pro Bowl selection.
Baltimore defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald discussed Pierre-Paul on Thursday afternoon.
Macdonald: “Obviously JPP has had a heck of a career. He’s great player. We’ll see what happens.” Said it’s a question for (Eric) DeCosta, however.

He missed five games during the 2021 regular season, including the final three leading up to the playoffs, due to a shoulder injury and underwent surgery in February to address the issue. "JPP" registered 31 tackles, five quarterback hits, four passes defended, and 2.5 sacks last season.
