Aaron Donald, the standout defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams, seemed to relish in the San Francisco 49ers’ overtime defeat in Super Bowl 58.
Donald took to his Instagram story on Monday afternoon to share his sentiments with the Niners.
In a photo, he could be seen at an event, sporting a wide smile while pointing proudly to the Super Bowl ring he earned when the Rams clinched victory in Super Bowl LVI two years earlier.

For Niners fans, the loss stung even more given the context. Their team had fallen to the Rams in the NFC Championship Game, just before Los Angeles went on to triumph over the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl.
Recalling the NFC Championship clash at SoFi Stadium, the Niners had held a commanding 17-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Yet, the Rams mounted an impressive comeback, scoring 13 unanswered points to secure the win.
This defeat echoed the painful memories of previous Super Bowl setbacks for the Niners. In their first Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs four years prior, they had also squandered leads—holding a 10-point advantage both in the first half and the fourth quarter.
