Packers Rookie Sends Subtle Warning To Rest Of NFL
Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers shocked the football world during Super Wild Card Weekend. They went into AT&T Stadium and blew out the Dallas Cowboys, 48-32, for the most surprising outcome in the first round of the playoffs.

Entering the game, the Packers were 7.5-point underdogs, the second biggest behind only the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were +10. Despite oddsmakers not giving them much of a chance, Green Bay looked like the team that was heavily favored.

On their first drive of the game, Jordan Love led the Packers right down the field for a touchdown. Green Bay would score the first 27 points of the game as the Cowboys had no answers for them defensively. While the final score would indicate Dallas made a little bit of a run in the second half, virtually all of their production came in garbage time once the game was decided.

The Packers got contributions from basically everyone on their roster. It was a total team effort in dismantling the Cowboys, becoming the first No. 7 seed in NFL history to advance to the Divisional Round.

One of the players who helped contribute to the Packers getting to this point was rookie tight end Tucker Kraft. He caught two passes for 15 yards against the Cowboys, as his fellow rookie, Luke Musgrave, had the big splash play for a 38-yard touchdown. On Monday, he took to social media to offer a subtle warning to the rest of the NFL.

“What makes me most excited is that we still have our best football ahead of us. Great team win. Unbelievable fan support in The Star. Continue to rise to the occasion! 1-0,” Kraft wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

As the youngest team in the NFL, this is some invaluable experience the Packers are gaining. No one expected much from them this season after moving on from Aaron Rodgers, but they are in a great position moving forward.

The youngsters on the team have stepped up and are now in the Divisional Round of the postseason, where they will be facing the San Francisco 49ers. That will be another tall task, but at this point, it would be wrong to count them out.

No one gave them much of a chance against Dallas and look how that turned out. Playing with house money and skyrocketing confidence, the Packers are a dangerous team heading into the next round.
