The 4-9 Chicago Bears don’t need officiating to go against them during football games this season. They already have enough issues under embattled head coach Matt Nagy.
Unfortunately for the struggling squad, that was the case against the Minnesota Vikings inside Soldier Field Monday night.
We saw this first hand in the third quarter of the game with Minnesota leading Chicago by the score of 10-3.
Nothing was more blatant in regards to the zebras picking on Chicago than this call against defensive back Jalen Tabor on what was a third-and-18 from the Vikings own 15.
We’re not kidding. This is absolutely atrocious in every possible way. The Chicago Bears were actually called for a low block on defense. You can’t make this up.

What is even happening here? So, a defender can’t attempt to break from the block of an offensive lineman to make a tackle? Legitimately, this might be among the most atrocious penalties we’ve seen called on an NFL field in some time.
Chicago was called for three defensive penalties on this one drive with all three being questionable in nature. The end result was a Vikings touchdown and a two-touchdown lead.
The officials apparently want Matt Nagy fired, too.

Some of this officiating is just ridiculous, and I say that as someone whose team is benefitting from it.
Vikings cant move the ball so the refs do it for them

REF SHOW ENGAGED

Make that THREE times the #Bears thought they were getting off the field, only to have a flag give the #Vikings a first down.

Refs will argue by the letter of the law the low block on Tabor was illegal and they’d be right if he actually hit the blocker’s legs.

Why show up if you’re not going to let them play football?
I said out loud: “what a tackle” and then comes the flag. ♂️

You can't go through a blocker to make a tackle. Everyone knows that.

It’s impossible to be a defensive player anymore in the NFL.

Did they just call a low block… on the defense?
