Bengals cornerback DJ Turner II is off to a decent start in his rookie season. Through six games he is first among qualified rookie CBs in passer rating allowed (42.4).

Turner sports a 62.3 overall Pro Football Focus grade. That sits ninth among rookie cornerbacks to play at least 20% of the snaps this season. He's been a nice salve as Chidobe Awuzie fights through a back injury early in the campaign.

*The PFF database has Steelers rookie stopper Joey Porter Jr. (0.0) slotted higher, but he's also played one less game than Turner.
