Kansas City Monarchs announce Kansas City Charity Softball Game with Chiefs players as hosts
Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Monarchs are just as much of a staple of the city as the Kansas City Chiefs, if not more so. The Monarchs are integral to the city's history and the league, and people in the city love that.

Imagine the Monarchs and the Chiefs, two iconic symbols of the city, coming together for an event that would be a testament to our community's spirit and pride. They will do that in a softball game.

This softball game will feature Chiefs players like Justin Reid and Trey Smith, who has hosted his own softball game before. Here is what the Monarchs tweeted about the special occasion:

Excited to announce the Kansas City Charity Softball Game with NEW hosts, Justin Reid, and Trey Smith! This epic event is one you don't want to miss so be ready to bring that Red Kingdom energy to Legends Field on June 6th!

It's going to be a lot of fun to watch, and we know it's going to be competitive, too. To get tickets and find out more information, click here.
