The Kansas City Chiefs signed two pass catchers Wednesday ahead of their Week 16 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day. Receiving has been the Chiefs’ Achilles’ heel this season as the team leads the league in drops. With the postseason only a few weeks away, Patrick Mahomes will have some time to potentially integrate the new threats into the passing game.
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Chefs signed wide receivers Anthony Miller and tight end Izaiah Gathings. Gathings is a rookie UDFA who worked out with the team Tuesday.

Miller has familiarity with offensive coordinator Matt Nagy's offense. The Chicago Bears drafted Miller in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft when Nagy was the head coach. Miller has since spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans.
The Chiefs needed to add a wide receiver to the roster this week after news came out that Skyy Moore is headed to injured reserve.
