Julia and Julian Love just received the greatest possible Christmas gift - the weekend birth of their first child, a baby boy named Noah.

And now comes a decision: Can the Seattle Seahawks safety - so stellar last week in the upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles that that was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week - make it to Tennessee in time to play the Titans on Sunday?

Coach Pete Carroll was prepared to go without Love, saying on Friday, "Whatever he’s got to do. Got to take care of his wife and family and all of that.”

Consider that done. Love, separate from the team, has boarded a plane to join the 7-7 Seahawks in Nashville as he will start again at safety, per a Seahawks spokesperson.

Love did not practice on Friday as he was with Julia in preparation for the birth. ... all part of a wonderful week that included his performance against the Eagles as he had nine tackles and two interceptions in a thrilling comeback win that keeps alive Seattle's playoff hopes.
