Jets RB makes three promises for 2024

Shortly after the NFL's Pro Bowl rosters were announced on Wednesday night, New York Jets running back Breece Hall made three promises for 2024 on social media.

Hall was selected by the Jets in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft and showed signs of greatness early on, gaining 197 yards from scrimmage with one touchdown on 20 touches in Week 5 last season. Hall followed that up with 116 rushing yards and one touchdown on 20 carries in his first start in Week 6, before suffering a season-ending torn ACL and meniscus in Week 7.

The Iowa State product started 2023 hot, recording 127 rushing yards on 10 carries in the team's Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills. Hall's numbers immediately stalled over the next few games, however, while playing in one of the worst offenses in the league and behind one of the most maligned offensive lines in football.

The 22-year-old had more bright spots during the 2023 campaign, rushing for a career-high 177 yards in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos and posting over 100 yards from scrimmage with four total touchdowns in Weeks 14-17, but his overall numbers could've been much better on a different team.

Entering Week 18, Hall leads the team in a host of offensive categories including rushing attempts (186), rushing yards (816), rushing touchdowns (four), receiving touchdowns (four) and yards from scrimmage (1,395). He's played in all 16 games and is also second on the team in targets (93) and receptions (74) and third in receiving yards (579).

If quarterback Aaron Rodgers can come back healthy and productive for the 2024 campaign and the team can address their obvious weaknesses on the offensive line in the offseason, there's no reason why Hall won't be even better next fall.
