The quarterback position is something to watch for the New York Giants in 2024. Daniel Jones is the presumed starter, but others could push for that role. Now, New York has added another intriguing piece to the QB depth chart.

The Giants claimed QB Nathan Rourke off waivers, according to Tom Pelissero.

Check out the full QB room for New York below.

  • Daniel Jones
  • Drew Lock
  • Tommy DeVito
  • Nathan Rourke

Rourke went viral during the 2023 preseason when with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He's never become a starter at the NFL level, but this opportunity could be a big one for his pro career.

During those preseason games with Jacksonville, Rourke completed 65.7 percent of his passes for 348 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also ran 14 times for 39 yards and one touchdown.

At the CFL level, Rourke was a star player. He spent 2021-2022 in the CFL on the BC Lions. He's still just 25 years old.

Now, he is trying to gain more momentum during his NFL career.
