Former Steelers WR Lands OC Interview
USA TODAY Sports

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle-El landed his first offensive coordinator interview of the offseason, meeting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team announced.

Randle-El's season ended after the Detroit Lions fell to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Shortly after, the interest for him as an offensive coordinator began to surge, starting with Tampa Bay.

The former Steelers' Super Bowl champion has been with the Lions since 2021 as their wide receivers coach. He started his coaching career with Tampa Bay, working under Bruce Ariens as an offensive assistant from 2019-2020, winning Super Bowl LV.

Randle-El played for the Steelers from 2002-2005 and then returned in 2010. He was named an All-Pro in his final season of his first stunt, and became champion that same year.

The team's second-round pick out of Indiana had experience as a quarterback and wide receiver before joining the NFL. He'll look to utilize that knowledge to gain his first OC job.
