Byron Jones reacts to contract restructure after Hill trade

The addition of Tyreek Hill should prove to be a big help for the Miami Dolphins, but there is just one downside — at least for one player.

Cornerback Byron Jones signed a five-year, $82.5 million contract with the Dolphins two years ago. On Friday, he agreed to restructure his contract to help save the team around $10 million in cap space for this season.

So, what was Jones’ reward for helping the team out by restructuring his contract? He gets to cover Hill in practice each day!

Yes, that will make practice tougher for Jones. But you know what they say: Iron sharpens iron. Maybe going against Hill will force Jones to improve his game.
