Dallas Cowboys fans head for AT&T Stadium exits before halftime during Packers dominant first half

The 20-point lead is the largest halftime deficit in the playoffs in franchise history for the Cowboys.

Green Bay dominated the first half in the game on both sides of the football. RB Aaron Jones scored the first two touchdowns to put the Packers up 14-0. Then, later in the second quarter, QB Jordan Love found WR Dontayvion Wicks for a 20-yard completion in the endzone to push the lead to 20.

That’s when, just moments later, QB Dak Prescott threw his second interception of the day. While Jaire Alexander’s first one simply set Green Bay up for a score, this second one by Darnell Savage went for a pick-six as he ran it back 64 yards for the touchdown. That extended the lead to 27. At that point is when some of the fans present in the building started to head toward the parking lot.

Dallas was able to find a score in the final seconds to make it somewhat more manageable. A touchdown to TE Jake Ferguson closed the gap back to 20. Even so, it was undeniably a brutal half for the No. 2 seed in the NFC.

The Cowboys have their work cut out for them in the second half against Green Bay if they want to extend their postseason appearance. These select fans won’t get to see if they manage to complete the comeback, though, after tapping out before the end of the half following a rough performance to start.

Lions, Rams fans cheer for Packers’ beatdown of Cowboys

The NFL Playoffs are underway this weekend. Fans involved are eagerly awaiting every twist and turn, even in games that don’t include their team. Fans of the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams even watched from inside Ford Field as they await kickoff.

They took in some action between Dallas and Green Bay a few hours ahead of kickoff in their own game. With the Cowboys-Packers game getting off to a rather lopsided start, fans of both teams were eating it up.

After Green Bay scored its fourth touchdown of the game, a 64-yard pick-six off of Dak Prescott by Darnell Savage, the fans erupted inside Ford Field.
