Cowboys collapse in Mike McCarthy's return to Green Bay

The Cowboys collapsed against the Green Bay Packers.

Despite leading the majority of the game, Dallas surrendered 17 unanswered points in the 4th quarter and overtime. They fell 31-28.

A play that sealed Dallas' fate was a questionable play call on fourth-and-4 in overtime. Although they were in field goal range, they decided to go for it, which was a mistake. Dak Prescott stumbled under pressure lobbing an errant pass intended for Tony Pollard. Afterward, Aaron Rodgers engineered a six-play scoring drive, sealing the game.

The loss will sting because head coach Mike McCarthy failed to earn his coveted victory against his former team, and the Cowboys haven't beaten the Packers since 2016.
