Commanders Cut Williams, Set RB Depth Chart

AUG 29 JONATHAN WILLIAMS CUT The Washington Commanders have made a decision in regards to their running back room.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Commanders are cutting running back Jonathan Williams.

This leaves Brian Robinson Jr., Antonio Gibson and sixth-round rookie Chris Rodriguez Jr. as the team's running backs.

The team is also placing fourth-round rookie offensive lineman Braeden Daniels on injured reserve.

AUG 20 4 MOVES Washington has made four roster moves, the most notable of which means Joey Slye has won the kicker competition.

The multiple roster moves: defensive Isaiah Mack and punter Michael Palardy have been signed. Released are kicker Michael Badgley and receiver Jalen Sample.
