The Cleveland Browns have been in a neck-and-neck offensive battle in the first half of the AFC Wild Card Game against the Houston Texans but are dealing with a significant injury to one of their best players. During the early portion of the second quarter, offensive guard Joel Bitonio suffered an injury and was helped off the field. However, he jogged straight to the locker room.

Joel Bitonio was on the injury report during the week with an oblique injury but the injury the Cleveland Browns guard suffered appeared to be a lower right leg/ankle injury. He was named to the Pro Bowl this season but did not appear on either the first or second team All-Pro for the first time since 2017.

We will keep you informed if Bitonio is ruled out as soon as the news comes out as he is officially listed as questionable!

Can the Cleveland Browns continue to do well without Joel Bitonio on the field?

The Cleveland Browns have been dealing with injuries throughout the season but were able to get some help this week, activating Grant Delpit from injured reserve. However, their offense is showing the ability to step up throughout the AFC Wild Card Game as they have 14 points through their first four possessions.

Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco has been playing extremely well throughout the season and they have one of, if not the, best defenses in the entire sport. The team has shown to do well and could run the opposite side with Wyatt Teller in the opposite guard position.

This team has a lot of talent and it is difficult to count out elite Joe Flacco in the postseason. The Cleveland Browns just need to get the defense going and continue to put pressure offensively if they want to advance to the AFC Divisional Round.
