Chargers Injury Report: Bolts Could Be Without Two Offensive Stars for Bout With Ravens
© Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers are preparing their game plan for their matchup  with the Baltimore Ravens this weekend , and they may have to do so without two of their offensive weapons. Tight end Geral Everett and Jalen Guyton are both listed as questionable for the Sunday Night Football matchup.

It would be a major blow to the Chargers' chance against Baltimore if one, or both, guys can't suit up. They need all the help they can get against this tough Ravens defense.

Both players practiced during the week, and there is hope for them to play. But it remains to be seen at this current time.

Everett would be a big loss for LA in this game, as he acts like a security blanket for quarterback Justin Herbert when he gets in trouble. Baltimore loves to blitz the quarterback, so having his reliable tight end would be huge.

On the year, he has 21 catches for 167 yards and two scores. He has missed the last few games due to injury, but the hope is that he can return for this crucial game.

As for Guyon, he gives the Chargers another weapon that can space the field out. He uses his speed to get into the open space, and against Baltimore, having someone to stretch the field would be massive for the Bolts.

He takes away coverage from defenders, forcing them to watch him. This leaves the other Chargers weapons more chances to get the ball, so his presence would be felt if he couldn't give it a go.

Hopefully, both players can suit up for the game. The team needs to get a win to avoid falling to 4-7 on the season, and their year completely spiraling out of control.
