Cardinals RB Keaontay Ingram returns from injury
Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

After receiving news that running back James Conner placed on injured reserve, Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon stated that backup Keaontay Ingram will be back for the game against the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 15, according to multiple sources.

Originally being out with a neck injury, Ingram didn’t play in the 34-20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 8.

In his second year in Arizona, Ingram has had 12 carries and ran for 15 yards in three games this season.

Overall, Ingram scored 1 touchdown and recorded 75 yards on 39 carry attempts.

If Ingram is labeled as the starting running back for Week 6 against the Rams, this will be his first career start in 16 NFL games.
