Bills Shake Up Coaching Staff With 3 New Hires
© Mark J. Rebilas, USA TODAY

Sean McDermott remains the head coach, but the Buffalo Bills continue to overhaul the coaching staff around him this offseason.

On Wednesday, the Bills officially announced three new additions to the staff: Ronald Curry as quarterbacks coach, Jahmile Addae as cornerbacks coach and Christian Taylor as a defensive quality control coach.

Curry, 44, takes over the role previous held by Joe Brady, whom the Bills recently promoted to offensive coordinator full-time. Curry has spent the past eight years on the New Orleans Saints' coaching staff and the past three as their quarterbacks coach, with the added responsibility of passing game coordinator in 2022. He got his start in the coaching field as an offensive assistant with the San Francisco 49ers from 2014 to 2015.

As a player, Curry spent eight seasons in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions and St. Louis Rams. He was also a two-sport athlete at North Carolina, playing both football and basketball.

Addae, 39, comes to Buffalo by way of the Miami for his first job as an NFL coach. He has been a cornerbacks/secondary coach for several high-profile college teams, including Miami, Georgia and his alma mater of West Virginia. Addae was a two-time All-Big East selection during his time with the Mountaineers from 2001 to 2005.

Like Addae, Taylor is another longtime college coach making his jump to the NFL level. He has spent 16 years coaching mainly smaller college teams, most recently serving as the offensive coordinator at William & Mary, his alma mater.

With the offseason still young, it's very likely the Bills will make more changes to their staff before long.
