The Chicago Bears made a minor roster move on Monday as they released defensive back Harrison Hand.

The Temple product was a fifth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent two seasons with the Vikings but was waived ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Hand spent time on the Bears' practice squad before appearing in four games at the end of the 2022 season. The 24-year-old recorded 12 tackles (nine solo), one pass defended, and one forced fumble in those contests.

Fittingly, Hand's lone start of the season came in Week 18 against his former team. He recorded his first career forced fumble in that game, giving him a nice highlight to add to his tape as he searches for his next NFL destination.
