At least three Cowboys are on NFL's Top 100 list

In the NFL's annual ranking of the top 100 players, three Cowboys appear among Nos. 51-100: wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (No. 95), left tackle Tyron Smith (92) and right guard Zack Martin (68). The players' peers vote on the list.

The NFL will release players 31-50 on Sunday.

The Cowboys clearly don't lack talent on the offensive line. The only team so far with more players ranked is the New Orleans Saints with five. They are cornerback Marshon Lattimore (89), linebacker Demario Davis (74), safety Tyrann Mathieu (70), defensive end Cameron Jordan (69) and running back Alvin Kamara (51).

Lamb, a third-year player, made his first appearance on the list. The former first-round pick from Oklahoma broke out in 2021 with 1,102 yards receiving and six touchdown catches.  The 23-year-old earned a Pro Bowl nod as well.

Lamb should have an even bigger role on the offense this season because Dallas traded Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns in the offseason.

Smith, in his 12th season with the Cowboys, made his eighth appearance on the list. He has made eight Pro Bowls and been named first-team All-Pro twice. He was a member of the NFL’s 2010’s All-Decade team.

Martin is another member of that All-Decade team. He made his sixth consecutive appearance on the NFL list, jumping 17 spots from last year. Martin is a seven-time Pro Bowler. He has made first-team All-Pro five times.

Expect Cowboys stars such as second-year linebacker Micah Parsons to be included when the complete list is posted.
