Arizona Cardinals keep Jeff Rodgers as special teams coordinator
Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

Despite a spree of new hires all around, the Arizona Cardinals will stick with Jeff Rodgers as their special teams coordinator and assistant head coach for the fifth straight season.

At 44 years old, Rodgers will be considered a veteran on the Cardinals coaching staff, considering the youth that has taken over the past couple of weeks.

This will be his third different head coach under which he will be working. Steve Wilks was his first, then Kliff Kingsbury, and now Jonathan Gannon.

As of now, Rodgers is the only coach who has been retained under Gannon’s control.

Stay tuned for more updates, as the Cardinals still have many positions to fill across their coaching staff.
