49ers’ Nick Bosa Makes Bold Comment On Eagles vs. Cowboys In Week 14
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa thinks the Dallas Cowboys should take note of how his team dismantled the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend.

The 49ers hammered the Eagles by a score of 42-19 this past Sunday, which was easily the worst loss Philadelphia has suffered over the last couple of years.

It also represented some sweet revenge for the Niners, as Philly destroyed the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game last January.

While speaking with reporters on Thursday, Bosa gave some tips to the Cowboys ahead of their own Week 14 clash with the Eagles.

“Obviously, we put the blueprint out there. Hopefully, the Cowboys watch the tape,” Bosa said, via JPA Football. “We made Jalen [Hurts] stay in the pocket and escape outside instead of those big gaps and it paid off. … Jalen’s looking at the rush every play, so you just have to be disciplined and not give him that quick escape route where he can get to his guys quick.”

Bosa logged six tackles in San Francisco’s blowout win.

Meanwhile, Hurts went 26-for-45 with 298 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball seven times for 20 yards and a score.

While Hurts’ numbers look solid, the Eagles’ offense sputtered all game long and was never really able to get going against a fierce Niners defense.

Philadelphia previously beat Dallas by a score of 28-23 last month, but the Cowboys look like a different team since then, having won four straight games in dominant fashion since the defeat.

Perhaps Nick Bosa is right: maybe Dallas should watch the tape to see just what San Francisco did to register such a resounding victory against the defending NFC champions.

The Eagles are 10-2 and hold a one-game lead over the Cowboys for first place in the NFC East division.
