The 2023 Senior Bowl practices are set to begin on Tuesday afternoon.

Last year's event featured 106 draft prospects who eventually were selected in the draft.

Each team in the National Football League selected at least one Senior Bowl participant last year with 12 teams selecting four or more prospects who spent the week in Mobile, Alabama.

Former Lion Shaun Dion Hamilton is now a member of Dan Campbell's coaching staff.

After making the tough decision to end his playing career, Detroit's former linebacker will have an opportunity to coach the defensive backs on the American Team roster this week.

With Brad Holmes and the coaching staff looking to add a cornerback or two to the roster in 2023, getting an up close evaluation of the top prospects can aid Detroit's scouting staff.

Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy, in an attempt to prevent hundreds of repetitive social media posts, took the time at the start of the week to explain player interactions with prospective teams.

Nagy shared on social media that each player present is scheduled to have formal meetings and interviews with representatives from all 32 NFL teams.

Personnel staffs will now have an opportunity to meet with all 125 participants in the Senior Bowl.
