Wisconsin Basketball Star AJ Storr Re-Enters Transfer Portal

In a turn of events, Wisconsin basketball leading scorer and star guard AJ Storr has entered the college transfer portal. Storr originally entered the NBA Draft pool, but left an avenue to return back to the Wisconsin basketball team. However, Storr has made a u-turn and decided to exit the program as he heads for the transfer portal as well.

After Failing to Meet Expectations Set For Himself, Program, Storr Exits

It seems odd to say a player who averaged 16.8 points per game and made the NCAA Tournament would feel he didn’t ‘Meet Expectations’ but that is Storr for you. The guard is a success-driven player, and while he had a great season, he did not have a complete season and suffered his fair share of struggles on the court.

Storr is a player that is constantly fishing to get better and improve both himself and the team. The guard exiting the program does not come as the biggest surprise since he already chose to test the NBA waters, and now will test the collegiate waters as well. Storr never completely closed the door on Wisconsin basketball, but a return seems very unlikely.

Where Will AJ Storr Land After Leaving the Wisconsin Badgers Basketball Team?

With all things consider, it is not the most surprising move for someone like Storr who wants to win at the biggest levels. With two years of eligibility remaining, the current top target for Storr is the Illinois basketball program, who previously missed on Storr twice.

Illinois will likely throw a huge bag at Storr is attempt to secure a commitment from the guard and bring him home.
