We all know that the Golden State Warriors are the most successful team in the NBA right now.
That’s obviously true since they just won the NBA Finals back in June and are the reigning champions of the league.
But that doesn’t mean they’re just going to sit around and not try to get even better.
Veteran forward JaMychal Green is working toward a contract buyout with Oklahoma City, and once that’s completed and he’s cleared waivers, Green intends to sign with Golden State, sources tell ESPN.

It is being reported by Adrian Wojnarowski that the Warriors are looking to sign veteran forward JaMychal Green.
Green is currently working toward a contract buyout with the Oklahoma City Thunder and then will sign with the Warriors after he clears waivers.
What will Green bring to an already-talented team?
During his last season, Green put up 6.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and .9 assists.
But that was only during about 16 minutes of play on average.
Green is known as someone who often achieves a very high field goal percentage: it has hovered close to 50% at times during his time at various teams.
The Warriors are hoping to capitalize on that talent and have Green give them some major shots.
Golden State has given up a decent amount of talent so far in the offseason so they need to fill some voids before they become glaring and slow the champions down.
There is no doubt that the team is incredibly powerful and capable and has a good shot at making it to the top of the Western Conference again.
But next season will be even more challenging than the last because of fully healthy versions of the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, and more.
Yet, even with those obstacles, a smart bettor would put their money on the Warriors doing an awful lot in the season ahead.
