Suns make intriguing change to starting lineup
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Phoenix Suns have finally announced their starting five for tonight's In-Season Tournament elimination game matchup against your Los Angeles Lakers.

Phoenix will start All-Star and MVP candidate Devin Booker at the point, Eric Gordon at shooting guard (for Bradley Beal), Grayson Allen at small forward, All-NBA superstar Kevin Durant at power forward, and Jusuf Nurkic at center.

With Gordon sidelined, Josh Okogie had started in Phoenix's prior game, a 116-109 December 2nd win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Now it's Okogie, not Grayson Allen, who heads to the bench, thus rendering my earlier prediction entirely moot.

LA, as previously established, will start D'Angelo Russell at point guard, Cam Reddish at shooting guard, Taurean Prince at small forward, 19-time All-Star LeBron James at power forward, and eight-time All-Star Anthony Davis at center.
