Steph Curry is an excellent role model for a lot of young people who look up to NBA stars. He was underestimated for a lot of his career due to being smaller than his peers, but he made it through and became the greatest shooter of all time. And despite the hours that have gone into Curry developing his shooting and overall game to become as good as he is, it seems he has not neglected his education.

Curry spent three years in college at Davidson before declaring for the NBA Draft and accumulated enough credits that he was only one completed semester away from completing his degree. He joined the NBA after his junior year though, and obviously, there were much bigger priorities for him the focus on.

A lot of players would and have given up on their degree, especially once they earned the sort of contract Curry eventually signed, but Steph has once again proved that he is a different breed. The Golden State point guard completed his spring semester this year in 2022 and now has enough credits to graduate with the Class of 2022 at Davidson.

"Stephen Curry has on many occasions emphasized the importance of education, how much he valued his Davidson College experience and that he is committed to earning his degree. He needed to complete one semester of classwork."

"He re-enrolled at Davidson College for the spring semester and worked with two members of the Davidson faculty, a Stanford University professor and a UC Santa Cruz professor who taught Stephen when both were at Davidson."

"He will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Sociology, with the class of 2022 on Sunday but will not attend Commencement. Davidson College looks forward to an opportunity on campus in the future when we can present his diploma."

Making it at the highest level in the NBA is a dream for many children, but it's equally important for most to finish their education as well. Curry taking the time to do this on the side while leading the Golden State Warriors to the Western Conference Finals is truly inspirational. His team will face the winner of Game 7 between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns and will be aiming to win it all. That way, Curry can get his fourth ring as well as his diploma this year.
