Report: Jazz to sign Danuel House to 10-day contract

When forward Joe Ingles was placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols on Tuesday, the Utah Jazz became the latest team in the league to have a player do so. On Wednesday, the Jazz made a move to try to make up for the loss of Ingles.

House signed with the Washington Wizards in September 2016 as an undrafted free agent and made his NBA debut that November. The 28-year-old played in just one game that season and signed with the Houston Rockets in October 2017.

In 23 games that season, including three starts, House averaged 6.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 17.5 minutes per contest. House then spent the following three seasons with the Houston Rockets, setting career-highs in points (10.5), rebounds (4.2), steals (1.1) and minutes per game (30.4) during the 2019-2020 campaign.

In 17 games this season (16 with the Rockets and one with the New York Knicks), House has posted 4.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 13.9 minutes per contest.
