Raptors to sign Justise Winslow to 10-day deal
Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Raptors are signing guard/forward Justise Winslow to a 10-day contract, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Winslow, 27, is 6-foot-6 and has been playing with Raptors 905 of the G League. He was selected by the Miami Heat with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. Along with the Heat, he has spent time with the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers.

Winslow appeared in 29 games with Portland last season, averaging 6.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists. He carries NBA career averages of 8.2 points and 5.1 boards.

The Raptors (19-33) are in the midst of a rebuilding season after a flurry of trade over the past two months.

Winslow played his college ball at Duke and is the son of former University of Houston star Rickie Winslow, who appeared in seven games with the Milwaukee Bucks in 1987-88.
