Rudy Gay has had a stellar career in the NBA. The 35-year-old has been in the league for 15 years and started his career with the Memphis Grizzlies. He was drafted by the organization in 2006 with the 8th overall pick. During his stint with the Grizzlies, he had some pretty great moments.

One was when Gay hit an amazing game-winner against the Toronto Raptors in 2011. Gay knocked down a shot and gave his team a 2-point lead with just 0.8 seconds on the clock.

During the game, a Toronto Raptors fan was utterly saddened by Gay's game-winner. His reaction was quite hilarious at the time as he couldn't believe his team would be losing the game.

"No, it's Rudy Gay. No! No! No! Not this guy. Not this guy. Oh my god , you f*****g a*****e no! No! F*****g Rudy Gay man.0.8 seconds left. F*****g Rudy Gay man."

The fan went absolutely insane, and it's quite understandable. Gay finished the game with 21 points to his name and a statline of 8/20 from the field.

Following his stint with the Grizzlies, Rudy was traded to the Toronto Raptors in the 2012-13 NBA season. Quite ironic as he nailed a game-winning shot against the team a few years ago.

His run with the Raptors was short and later joined the Sacramento Kings. By this time in his career, Gay was in the prime of his career and played at an elite level.

The next stop for him was the San Antonio Spurs, where he slowly transitioned into a role player. Despite playing in the NBA, he is yet to be part of an NBA championship team.

Maybe his search for the NBA championship will end this year. He is now part of the Utah Jazz. The Jazz have a great team and could certainly use some veteran presence in the locker room.

Gay will be fulfilling that role for the Jazz and will hope to help the team to make a deep playoff run.

But can he actually achieve that? Well, with the new season right around the corner, we will know soon.
