Pacers Expected to Sign Gabe York to Two-Way Deal
William Bretzger/Delaware News Journal / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Pacers are expected to sign shooting guard Gabe York to a two-way contract for the final few weeks of the season, per Scott Agness of FieldHouse Files.

York, 29, is 6-foot-3 and has been playing with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers’ G League affiliate. Indiana waived shooting guard Trevelin Queen, creating an open two-way spot. (Full post.)

York signed a two-way deal to also end last season with the Pacers, and as Agness noted, it appears that will again be the case to conclude 2022-23. He appeared in two games last season — for his lone NBA appearances.

York is averaging 21.4 points and shooting 45 percent from the field in 27 games with the Mad Ants. That includes 40 percent on 3-pointers.
