New York Knicks Player Earns $350,000 Contract Bonus

On Saturday evening, the New York Knicks  continued their road trip when they faced off against the Sacramento Kings in California.

The Knicks won by a score of 98-91, and Jalen Brunson led the way with 42 points. 

Isaiah Hartenstein finished his night with seven points, 14 rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocks while shooting 3/3 from the field in only 28 minutes of playing time. 

He also earned a significant contract bonus with the victory. 

Via ESPN's Bobby Marks: "Isaiah Hartenstein has earned a $350K bonus for team wins in a season. 

New York won their 40th game of the season at Sacramento."

Hartenstein is in his second season with the Knicks and has been a vital part of the team. 

The 25-year-old is averaging 6.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 61.6% from the field in 61 games. 

In addition to New York, he has also spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers over six seasons. 

As for the Knicks, they improved to 40-27 in 67 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and have gone 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Following the Kings, the Knicks will play their next game on Monday evening when they travel to San Francisco for a showdown with Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.
