NBA center, former Oregon star Bol Bol re-selling designer clothes online with 5-star reviews

Former Oregon star Bol Bol has left fans shaking their heads over the years about what he can do in the open floor on a basketball court. The 7-foot-3 center can simply do some things on the court than many seven footers cannot. He’s bounced around to a number of teams in his NBA career thus far. He’s only logging 8.9 minutes per game this year with the Phoenix Suns and it appears the Sudanese star might be getting his feet wet in a side hustle to earn some extra cash on the side. Bol Bol is re-selling his designer clothes online.

He’s re-selling the items in an online marketplace called Grailed–the personal platform for personal style. For a link to his website and the different type clothes he’s re-selling, you can find that here. One quick glance at the clothes he’s selling and you’ll realize they aren’t cheap. One pair of the chrome hearts pants will set you back a cool $18,000.

He deserves plenty of credit for taking the initiative to resell his old clothes. And clearly there are plenty of people that want them. He’s already had 53 transactions so far. Not only that, he’s got 11 five-star reviews, which is always a good sign. And he’s marked as a speedy shipper. Double bonus. Imagine getting your designer clothes in the mail and realize they were worn by Bol Bol?

He doesn’t have that many items in his store. But hey, it’s a smart move by Bol Bol to turn his old clothes into some extra cash. Not only that, who knows, this might be the start of his second career after basketball.

In 2022-2023 with the Orlando Magic, Bol Bol stuffed the stat sheet with 9.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He also averaged 1.2 blocks per game. It’s taken a few years for the long and lean center to hit his stride, but flashes of his impressive athletic ability have always been there.

He’s a native of Sudan and he’s the son of one of the greatest shot blockers in NBA history in Manute Bol–who blocked 2,086 shots in his career (3.3 blocks per game).

Bol was one of the top players in the country coming out of high school, ranking No. 4 overall in the 2018 class according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. The gifted center was also named a McDonald’s All-American in high school. He was unable to play in the game due to an injury.

He committed to play for Oregon, but ultimately appeared in only nines game after a stress fracture in his foot ended his season. He averaged 21.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in college before entering the 2019 NBA Draft. There, he was selected in the second round by the Miami Heat with the No. 44 overall pick. They traded his rights to the Denver Nuggets.
