MarJon Beauchamp, A.J. Green, Chris Livingston show out in brief G-League stint
USA TODAY Sports

Three youngsters of the Milwaukee Bucks put on a strong showing when they suited up for the Wisconsin Herd in the G-League on Thursday night.

The Bucks briefly assigned MarJon Beauchamp, Chris Livingston, and A.J. Green to Wisconsin, and the trio made an instant impact when they helped the Herd beat the College Park Skyhawks on Thursday night, 106-103.

Solid contributions

The three players combined for 48 points in the win. MarJon finished with 22 points, Chris tallied 14, while A.J. had 12 points.

Per Eric Nehm of The Athletic, the Bucks have already recalled the three rotational players and will be available when they go up against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.

Assigning their rotational players to the G-League may become a common occurrence for the Bucks with the return of Jae Crowder.

Crowder played his first game since November 11th on Wednesday night, where the Bucks lost badly to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 95-135. The 33-year-old veteran, who suffered a torn left adductor, marked his return with a 15-point performance in 19 minutes of limited playing time. Jae is expected to be placed under a minutes restriction while he works his way back to tip-top shape.

More G-League stints?

With Jae's return, Milwaukee's rotational players may see their playing time dwindle, and sending them to the Herd occasionally will keep them in game shape.

Among the team's rotational players, Beauchamp is playing a bigger role with the Bucks, but with Crowder's return, he may not get his usual minutes as the two are both playing the forward positions.

MarJon has already played 34 games in the season, averaging 4.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.2 blocks in just 15.7 minutes of playing time per contest.

MarJon has shown flashes of brilliance this season, and with Crowder back in harness, the Bucks now have a deeper bench, giving the team a boost as it bids for a better showing this season.
