Lakers And Warriors NBA Champion Traded In G League Deal

Quinn Cook most recently played in the NBA during the 2020-21 season when he was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

That season, he averaged 3.3 points per contest while shooting 42.6% from the field and 42.3% from the three-point range in 23 games.

On Friday, Cook's G League rights were traded to the Wisconsin Herd (G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks).

Last season, Cook played in the CBA for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, and he averaged 11.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest while shooting 33.7% from the field and 32.9% from the three-point range in 14 games.

It's unclear if Cook will end up playing for the Herd, but he has extensive experience in the G League (122 regular season games).

Cook has played five seasons in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans and Cleveland Cavaliers.

His career averages are 6.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest while shooting 46.1% from the field and 40.8% from the three-point range in 188 regular season games.

He has also appeared in 40 NBA playoff games and won NBA Championships with the Warriors (2018) and Lakers (2020).
