Kobe Bryant was one of the most skilled players in the history of the league. Bryant's offensive arsenal was greatly complimented by his craftiness. Kobe knew how to use the ball, and use the space around him to get past defenders with ease. And one moment from a game against the Sacramento Kings might go down as one of the best examples of Kobe's skillfulness.

Kobe Bryant took the ball along the court, being guarded by Jason Williams. Kobe used a crafty behind-the-back move. As Kobe brought the ball further along with the court, Tony Delk guarded him, while Williams tried to catch up to Kobe. Faced with two defenders coming at home, Kobe used an innovative side-step to open himself up and get Delk and Williams to collide, before taking a shot.

Bryant was incredibly skillful, and this was a prime example of how he could use his skill to get the better of defenders. Kobe made two defenders, who played decent defense on him, look completely out of his league. Such was the talent of Kobe, even when he was a very young player.

Kobe's ability to move with the ball allowed his teammates to take advantage of opposing defenses. Given his skill with the ball, Kobe naturally drew more defensive attention from guards, thus allowing his teammates to get good looks at the basket and make easy shots. Kobe's presence on the court alone was a big tool for the Lakers.

Bryant would have many more moments during the course of his career where he showcased his skills, especially his handles. Bryant was a great player with the ball in his hands, being able to maneuver with the ball in a way very few in the NBA could. And that is one of the many reasons Kobe was such a dangerous player.
