Kings rookie power forward Sasha Vezenkov re-aggravated a right ankle sprain this weekend and will miss several weeks of action, per Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee.

Per Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, Vezenko had just rejoined his Sacramento comrades following a two-week-plus shelving due to a sprain in the same ankle. The 6’9″ big man missed seven games with that initial ailment. Vezenko hurt the ankle once more in a Saturday practice ahead of Sunday’s game against the Thunder, a source informs Anderson.

The 28-year-old reserve, who’s the reigning EuroLeague MVP thanks to his efforts with the title-bound Olympiacos, joined the Kings on a three-year, $20M deal as a free agent last summer. Across 12.6 MPG thus far this year, he’s logging averages of 5.6 PPG on .448/.380/.769 shooting splits, along with 2.5 RPG. Anderson notes that Vezenkov has been an inconsistent part of the team’s lineups.
