Justise Winslow won't play for Grizzlies in bubble due to injury

Justise Winslow suffered a hip injury during practice Monday and will not be playing for the Memphis Grizzlies during the resumed season in Orlando.

Winslow was acquired by the Grizzlies via a trade with the Miami Heat in February. He was unable to play any games with the team before the league was shut down due to the coronavirus, as he was recovering from a back injury that kept him out for most of the season. The Grizzlies were hoping to get their first look at Winslow in their lineup with the season resuming in Orlando, but now they will have to wait until next season.

It's certainly a tough loss for the Grizzlies, as they are hoping to hold on to the eighth seed to secure a spot in the playoffs. They are currently 3.5 games ahead of several other teams, including the New Orleans Pelicans and the Portland Trail Blazers, but they have one of the most difficult remaining schedules among teams. They will need to play at their best to not be sent home following the regular season.
