"Just one of those nights" - Bobby Portis Jr. shrugs off Milwaukee’s 40-point loss to Cleveland

Portis said it was a case of the Bucks not being able to do anything right on the offensive end of the floor, and the Cavaliers couldn't do anything wrong in their own attack.

Bobby, however, admitted that they could have done better defensively when they couldn't get anything from their offense.

"Maybe we could've put more effort or sprinting back on defense or whatever it was, but the offensive end, it just wasn't our night shooting the ball. Defensive end, really couldn't get a stop. They made every shot they threw up. I feel like every time they shot it, it was going to go in," said Bobby, who scored 16 points in the loss.

Bobby can't wait to face Cleveland again

Milwaukee played without its scoring and rebounding leader, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The absence of Giannis was a significant factor in how the game was played, but it cannot be denied that Cleveland's defense also played a massive part in the one-sided affair.

"So, tip your hat to a good Cleveland team. They're a great defensive team, tip your hat to them," Bobby said.

The two squads are now 1-1 in the season, and with the lopsided loss, Portis Jr. can't wait to face the Cavaliers again. Milwaukee will play two straight games in Detroit and will head home to play two consecutive contests against Cleveland.

"See them a couple times next week, so it's kind of cool to have a fast turnaround like that, see the same opponent next week, especially twice at the crib," Portis said.
